How to help Carpet Party
ANYONE CAN HOST A CARPET PARTY!Help send at-risk Cambodian children back to school by hosting a ‘Carpet Party’!Show you’re support of our charity by hosting a Carpet Party! Every carpet sale goes towards sending another child to school, and assists us grow Carpets for Communities and take on more mothers.
A Carpet Party is just like a traditional Tupperware party, but better! If you think you’re friends, family and work colleagues would be interested in hearing about Carpets for Communities, seeing a wide range of the carpets, and having a fun night with friends, then we would be more than happy to help you organise a Carpet Party! What happens at a Carpet Party?Most often the party is just held at the organiser’s home and is very casual. Other times it can be on a larger scale in a hall or local community centre. Completely up to you!You can invite as many or as little people as you want, provide finger food and drinks, or ask them to bring a plate of food and make it BYO.
The Carpet Party rep will turn up before the party starts to lay out a few carpets on display, and stack the other carpets so that your guests can see the colours. When the guests arrive, and have had a few drinks and some finger food, the Carpet Party rep will tell everyone a bit more about Carpets for Communities.
The Carpet rep’s are a wealth of knowledge about Carpets for Communities, so guests can ask any questions about the charity if they want additional information. The carpets at the party would all be for sale if anyone wishes to purchase one, and orders for specific colours and sizes can also be places on the night.
What do I need to do?You as the organiser would organise the venue, food, drinks and invitations. The Carpet rep would be more then happy to assist you with this if you would like, and we have templates for invitations that can be used if requested.
